Introduction

If you want to easily find the right packaging - cardboard box or locker for shipping your products, even if you don't have an e-shop, or you don't use a compatible platform, this tool is for you. 

When you ship a lot of products, choosing the right packaging - cardboard box or locker - can become complicated, especially when an order includes many products of different sizes.

To simplify this process, we developed this application that calculates the total volume of products in an order and automaticaly suggest the appropriate packaging - cardboard box or locker, based on the dimensions entered in the application.

You can select the qualifications from a list, search for them by name or barcode, and even register products yourself and receive an automatic suggestion for the packaging or locker that fits, based on the dimensions.

How the app works?

1. Get Product dimensions

The application retrieves the dimensions (height, width, depth) of the products registered in it.

2. Total volume calculation

• For each product in the order, its volume is calculated (Height x Width x Depth).
• Then, the sum of the volumes of all products is calculated.

3. Choosing the right package - cardboard box or locker

The application compares the total volume with the available packaging - cartons or lockers, that you enter.

And then it suggests the smallest suitable packaging - cardboard box or locker that can hold the order, in order to save space and cost.

Conditions for correct operation

• Each product in the application must have correct dimensions registered (Height, Width, Depth).
• All calculations refer to the internal dimensions of the packaging - box or locker.
• The barcode in mandatory and must be unique for each product.
